About Dr. Littlejohn

Dr. Johnice F. Littlejohn, DO, MPH, is a psychiatrist practicing in Detroit, Michigan. A native Detroiter, Dr. Littlejohn is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care and improving mental health outcomes for underserved populations.

Dr. Littlejohn earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Detroit Mercy, where she majored in Biology and minored in Theatre. She subsequently earned her Master of Public Health from Michigan State University and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her Psychiatry Residency at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine, where she also served as Academic Chief Resident.

Dr. Littlejohn is the founder of Heritage Holistic Behavioral Health, PLLC, an outpatient psychiatric practice serving adults throughout Michigan via telepsychiatry. Her professional interests include geriatric psychiatry, psychotherapy, and addressing racial and socioeconomic disparities in healthcare and medical education. She remains committed to advancing equitable, culturally responsive mental health care and serving the community that helped shape her.
